Printer Installation

Installing a network printer or MFP can be a tricky job.

We understand that, when you buy a new device, you want it set up and running as quickly as possible.

You don't want to spend ages fiddling with cables and trying to get your head around driver settings, which is why we offer a nationwide installation service.

Our fully-trained engineers will commission and test your new printer. They can even provide training for key operators, so you can get on with more important things, like running your business.

There are two types of printer installation available, depending on your requirements and the complexity of your device:

1. Standard Installation

Commissioning

  • Unpacking the machine and full assembly of any stands, tray assemblies, duplex units, memory
  • Installation of consumables
  • Set up of I/P address and printer ports
  • Printer self test

Network Installation Advice

  • Liaison with your Network Administrator to ensure printer drivers are available for loading

Key Operator Training

  • Key features of the printer

It must be stressed that whilst the installation engineer will be happy to discuss and advise on network issues, it is very much your responsibility to ensure you have your own IT representation to load the printer drivers onto your network.
