3D Printshow London 2012 is being pitched by promoters Team Awesome Events as the world's first fully interactive trade and consumer 3D printing exhibition. One of the highlights will be the 3D live show which will include a catwalk show featuring 3D-printed clothes and accessories and live music played on 3D-printed instruments.
Some of the main players in the world of 3D printing will be taking part, including MakerBot, who will be hosting their own VIP exhibition room. The show will also feature interactive workshops, seminars, a 3D art gallery and exhibits from companies such as A1 Technologies, Econolyst and SaGa Design. Also on display will be collaborative works, such as those being created by Jeweller Silvia Weidenbach and Architect Tobias Klein.
The first day will be reserved for trade and press, with tickets for the remaining two days going on sale to the public from June 1st. Proof, if it were needed, that 3D printing has gone mainstream comes in the consumer technology zone of the exhibition hall, where there will be displays dedicated to areas as diverse as transport, medicine, space travel and consumer products.
3D Printshow will be held at The Brewery in London, EC1 and if you’d like more information about the event, you can find it at http://3dprintshow.com/home
