New Samsung ProXpress Printers

From the Printware Blog on Monday 17th June 2013 in New Products

Following the release of its Xpress printers, Samsung has just released three new business mono printers, the ProXpress range. The range, so far, consists of the 38 page per minute M3820ND single function device and two MFPs, the 33ppm M3370FD and the 38ppm M3870FW.

The M3820ND looks, at first glance, like a run-of the-mill home desktop printer but a quick peruse of the specs reveals its business printing credentials. Firstly, at 38 pages per minute, the M3820ND is designed to do more than just print the occasional e-mail or copy of your cv. It also comes with 128MB of memory and PostScript 3 emulation, which means that it can handle large, complex documents and generate professional quality output.

With a maximum toner capacity of 10,000 pages and a monthly duty cycle of 80,000, the M3820ND can handle a serious workload too, which makes it ideal for a small, busy office.

If your business has a need for some level of document management, you’ll want to take a look at the M3370FD and M3870FW, both of which feature print, copy, scan and fax functions. Both machines also come with 256MB of memory, automatic duplex and PostScript 3 emulation. The main differences are in the print speed (33ppm vs 38ppm), the multipurpose tray (1 sheet vs 50 sheets) and the ADF (simplex vs duplex). In addition, the M3870FW is WiFi enabled, which is particularly useful if your employees need to print from mobile devices.

Handy features like the One Touch Eco Button and Easy Eco Driver make it easy to manage print settings so you can save toner, paper and energy, which also saves you money. Check out the product pages to find out more, or give our team of experts a call on 023 9262 3300.
