Konica Minolta Reduces Consumable Prices

From the Printware Blog on Thursday 23rd July 2009 in News

After months of seemingly never ending price increases, there is finally some good news for print customers. Thanks to the pound's recent slight recovery against the euro, Konica Minolta has been able to reduce the prices of its entire consumable range by 8%. The cost reductions have already taken effect and Printware has immediately passed on the full 8% saving to its customers.

Whilst it might be a bit early to get excited and prices are unlikely to return to pre-recession levels, the price drop should provide some welcome relief for hard-pressed consumers. There have been no announcements as yet from other manufacturers but, given that they have cited currency fluctuations as a reason for increasing their prices in the first place, it seems likely that there will be more price cuts to come in the near future.

As and when we hear more on this, either from Konica or the other manufacturers, we will keep you updated and we will pass on any further price reductions to our customers.
