Underlining its position as an innovative and proactive market leader and HP Gold Partner, Printware has just become the first company in the world to sell one of HP’s new Quick Page contracts. Printware’s commitment to providing its customers with total printing solutions and its success in delivering HP service was reinforced earlier this year when it was presented with an award by HP’s Office Printing & Solutions Business Development Manager (As the Credit Crunch Continues to Bite, Printware and HP get Smart Together!) This highly successful partnership moved to another level as HP launched a new service that gives customers even greater control of their print costs.
Quick Page goes a stage further than previous service agreements as it offers customers the ability to combine hardware, consumable and maintenance costs into one monthly payment. The level of payment is determined by expected print volumes, so if you’re expecting to print, say, 2500 copies per month the cost of these copies is built into your monthly payment.
This makes it possible to fix printing costs and makes it easier to budget, a major consideration for all businesses looking exercise tighter control over their finances. The biggest barrier to many companies signing a new service agreement is the need to purchase new hardware and the inevitable capital outlay that this entails. Quick Page includes a lease rental agreement so the monthly cost includes the cost of the hardware; capital expenditure is reduced and the new hardware doesn’t appear as a depreciating asset on the company accounts. Once the rental term has expired, customers then have the option to upgrade the hardware, providing a cost effective means of keeping up to date with the latest printer technology. In addition, HP will install the printer to ensure that it is working correctly and ready on time.
Printware is proud of its reputation as a first class provider of print hardware, consumables and service, leading the way in tailoring innovative solutions for businesses of all sizes. It is this dedication which has resulted in our sales team being the first in the world to sign a Quick Page contract. Our track record of employing only the best people is underlined by the fact the salesperson who closed the deal was also the first in the world to sign a customer to the OKI Flatrate service.
Working closely with the customer, our sales team was able to identify specific needs and provide the customer with a package that enables them to budget accurately, removes the inconvenience of shopping around for consumables and provides peace of mind in the event of a breakdown. In addition, they have been able to benefit from brand new hardware installed by an HP engineer with no capital outlay and the option to upgrade.
