Ricoh Launches New Click Service

With print users increasingly looking to maintenance contracts as a way to manage their costs, Ricoh have entered the fray with their new "Click" service. Ricoh has created a scheme which aims to give customers the one thing they want from a service contract - simplicity.

Benefits will include transparent pay-as-you-go billing, with a single invoice covering all consumables, service and maintenance. There is no minimum volume commitment and payment is in arrears on a pay-per-click basis, meaning that you only pay for what you have printed. Ricoh Click is appears to be extremely flexible, with contracts available from six months to five years and service levels appropriate to your business needs. The click based pricing also includes servicing and maintenance by Ricoh trained engineers, giving you added peace of mind without the need for an additional maintenance contract. If Ricoh Click lives up to its billing, it should make life simpler for customers who would previously have been reluctant to take a service contract but, as it’s just been launched, we’ll be keeping a close eye and feeding back as we learn more.
