Review Quality output but not Ubuntu Linux

This printer works with Windows (XP & 7) fine. (Note:the duplex will not work with A5 paper.)

BUT. despite the fact that Canon's website states it works with Linux, this is true for just a few (less common) distributions. It will NOT work with (the very common) Ubuntu Linux for example. Printware Ltd were very helpful and accepted the printer back with no fuss.

I replaced the printer with a Samsung CLP-620ND which is more quiet, less expensive to run and has equivalent or better output. Well worth the little extra outlay.
