Bought this because the features and reviews were good; and it has proved to be. One tip, the toner low light flashes long before the toner runs out - yes it's a ploy to make you buy a new one, but shake the toner and it will go on for hundreds more pages!

Nice tip! This actually works for a lot of laser printers...

For years we were using cheap lexmark and hp deskjet printers. When the last one packed up, thought we deseved an upgrade. The Samsung 1915 was getting the best reviews by far, so found one through Printware - who were the cheapest by far. The printer arrived, well packaged next day delivery - Set up was very simple, even networking across multiple computers. The print quality is superb, the speed of printing is brilliant and the length of the cartidges is beyond belief. The only criticism I can offer is when the cartridge gets low, a warning light flashes on the machine - for low users, this will flash for a month til it actually runs out - that can be annoying - but other than that I can't fault this machine.

This is something we hear time and time again, customers who finally take the plunge and move over from inkjet to laser for their office printing are always amazed by how long the cartridges last - and usually very happy with the quality as well.

The issue with the toner warning light is an awkward situation for the manufacturers. For customers who don't use their printers all day every day, a 500-page warning for toner level seems a bit excessive as this will flash at them for a good few weeks. However, anything less and the higher level users would not have enough warning to order in a new toner cartridge. It's catch-22 - but hey, it-s a lot better to get a nice early warning than when your old inkjet cartridges just used to stop laying ink on the paper!

i love my printer and having read the above comments i now understand why the light flashes well before it runs out thank you
