Good but expensive to run |

Why go to the trouble of making a print that is anything less than it could be? I tell myself that as I order yet more ink. I look at the prints and reassure myself that it is worth it, they are very good.

After having so many problems with Epson printers with paper misfeeding and nozzle blockages, using the Canon has made printing enjoyable again. No misfeeds and not a single nozzle blocked since I've had it. The only downside is ink cost as it is with any printer. I've been keeping accurate records and it's around .0019p per square cm at the moment.

I have been delighted with this printer. Quiet, precise and produces excellent lab quality prints without fuss. The Easy Photoprint Pro software is a breeze to use. Using a calibrated monitor the prints are spot-on using the supplied profiles for Canon media (a first for me!). Highly recommended.

One to love. Fabulous, fabulous quality print. Economical yet effective self-cleaning, no paper jams. I would have liked it to do panoramic prints up to 1 metre long, but that's one for Canon designers to consider.
