Quality print-outs with Canon technology
Canon's exclusive Drop Modulation Technology is an advancement in Bubble Jet technology that improves the quality of colour printing. Dual heaters in the print head can produce different size ink drops. This results in better colour gradations, less grainy output and ultimately, superior colour output. The BJC-55 gives you print speeds of up to 5.5 pages per minute in mono and up to two pages per minute colour. The BJC-55 accepts the new BC-12e photo cartridge.

Scanner and printer in one
The built-in lithium-ion battery means that the BJC-55 can print without mains power—over 100 pages. A universal power adapter is supplied as standard for use around the world.

An optional IS-12 colour image scanner cartridge transforms the BJC-55 into a full colour sheet-fed scanner in just seconds.

Infrared communications
The BJC-55 has a built-in IrDA port for automatic infrared communication with your PC. There is no need for cables. Data is sent directly from your laptop or PC to the BJC-55—it's easy and wireless.

Compatibility
The BJC-55 is compatible with Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows NT.
