An excellent printer with good features including Ethernet and Wireless connection. The network connection was troublesome to set up on Mac but I got it to work eventually.

Good value for money. Printing, copying, scanning, all acceptably fast, good quality & straightforward. Nice that plain paper and glossy photo paper in separate trays. The appropriate tray is selected automatically. No messing about changing the paper.

Brilliant in every respect

After lengthy research,based on comparative price and features, I felt that the Canon PIXMA MP640 would best suit my requirements. Although it takes up 625MB of space,and in spite of the fact that it is a little slow from instruction to delivery, it delivers excellent print quality, including photographic printing. The ability to "clip" web items and print just what you require is 1st class and saves ink and paper and therefore running costs. It also has separate automatic feeds for photographic printing and ordinary printing. I haven't yet tried the facility for printing CD labels, so I cannot comment. Having always been an Epson owner, the Canon has proved to be a good investment so far and no doubt other features will be used in due course.

Was very disapointed that a document could not be scanned into word format.

think this product is very good the only draw back I have found is that you can not transfer data (scan info) from printer to PC via wireless you have to connect via USB this information was not made clear in the advertised spec other than that being able to print direct to printable DVD/CD is a great assett and the quality is very good Edward Flemwell

Excellent service and excellent priner.

The hardware seems to function very well. The main function of the software appears to be to cover desktop in a plethora of icons with Canon written on them. The various programs seem to add nothing in terms of functionality only look different from existing Microsoft windows. Connectivity seems ok but I find the whole thing a bit challenging between all the related PC, router and printer setup but we have direct wire connection to the nearest PC and my son links into the router network, so I don't think we're using the printer wireless. Printing and scanning are good but the ink is disappearing quickly the cartridges seem small but not a expensive as our alternative HP.

The highly rated reviews were correct. Photo-printing is excellent and fast.

This product was out of stock when I ordered it, but I was informed of this the following day and told it would come in stock christmas day, I recieved the item on the 28th Dec so great service there. The printer is great we had an hp 2400psc before and this is alot quieter the print quality is better and being wireless means it's tucked out of the way, we have it set up on 3 computers and the install took 10 mins max on each, cannot comment on ink use as yet as it doesn't seem to have used any, all in all I would reccomend this printer and Printware, many thanks
