Good printer for text and mixed colour images/photos in reports and marketing fliers. Can work very well on premium 100gsm (and up) stock but has been unpredictable on paper over 180gsm. The duplex unit has had a lots of issues, notably misfeeds on second time through and the top paper bin to collect printed output has been frankly poor with print jobs falling out and curling and getting in a big mess. Wouldnt want this as a workgroup printer for that reason. Am often amazed how long it takes complex jobs to print first page compared with the old HP printer and even though I have 512Mb RAM upgrade, made no difference. Running costs not bad and the power toner packs are small and obviously eco friendly. Liked being able to choose 2k, 4k, 6k sizes to adjust my spend each month.

Printer was delivered quickly and has met my expectations in terms of quality and speed. Printware were extremely helpful concerning some invoice issues and are highly recommended. There are a number of reviews on the internet for the engine within this printer. There are very positive about it and I can only concurr.

So far I have found that the printer is a lot faster and quieter than my old Samsung CLP500. It also appears that the replacement cartridges are cheaper. I will certainly continue shopping with Printaware in the future as they appear to offer value for money.
