Epson B 500DN Business Inkjet Printer

Colour printing for the cost of mono*. Transform the way you work with an Epson Business inkjet printer which provides colour at the same cost per page as a mono laser printer*. With colour printing at just £0.02** per page and mono printing at £0.005** per page, you can save money whether you choose to print in colour or mono. The Epson B500DN business inkjet printer can also maximise your business productivity with fast print speeds up to 37ppm, media flexibility and excellent reliability.

The B-500DN printer provides high performance, reliable printing for your business with high yield cartridges that print up to 8000 pages mono, 7000 pages colour, extensive paper handling (650 pages as standard capacity, 2 paper sources) and automatic duplexing. The Epson B 500DN printer can be shared across workgroups with high-speed networking.

Extensive media support - With the B-500DN you can print on an extensive range of media and paper sizes including; letterheads, labels, invoices and envelopes, graphics and marketing materials, which consistently produces fast, crisp text.

Excellent reliability - The B500DN benefits from an improved paper-feeding system and can provide a monthly duty cycle of up to 20,000 pages. Epson's Micro Piezo print head will last for the printer’s lifetime.

Fantastic Print Quality - You can create high-quality prints in colour or black and white with pigment-based Epson DURABrite Ultra inks. DURABrite inks have a rapid drying speed, high durability, and are water and smudge resistant. They provide amazingly sharp text for your business printing.

Fast printing - Print up to 37 ppm in draft mode, with 33 ppm mono and 32 ppm colour in business quality mode. The Epson B500 is ready to print when you are, with no warm-up time from standby. There is also a fast 3 seconds first page out print time.

Network and emulations support - Share the versatility of your Epson business printer in professional environments including SAP, Citrix and Linux with PLC3 and ESC/P2 (available from November 2008) emulations. Work quickly and reliably with Epson's sophisticated controller technology for efficient data management between PC and printer, which you can control with remote monitoring and administration.

Low environmental impact - Our unique Micro Piezo technology allows you to print with very low energy consumption. The result is that you reduce both the impact on the environment and your electricity bill. Additionally, the high yield ink cartridges mean fewer supply changes, so there is less waste to dispose of.
