Your technical support is excellent. A major strength is the telephone help line / responsive personnel who do seem to care about customer expereince beyond the credit card. This is a very pleasant contrast with other firms, I gave up on HP for this very reason!

I have had a couple of paper jams but fortunately these were cleared without too much anxiety. Good easy set up. So afr scanner works OK. OCR which is the main reason I bought the machine is also OK. I find the automatic direction to notepad after scanning a little odd after the HP software directed it from keyboard choice to Word.

HP also allowed some online manipulation of area to be scanned which I found useful. So far I haven't scanned any books fro OCR but if this works Ok I will be pleased.
