The printer itself, after a hairy setup procedure, is of good HP quality. The fax however, will not work on a broadband enabled line using a splitter (eg between the router and fax machine), so this requires manual intervention to enable use of the fax machine. Sacnning works fine once the machine ahs worked out where it is on the wireless network. Copying too is good.

Review HP Officejet 6500. A quick and easy to use product. Easy to set up. Goes into save mode, eco friendly.

The printer has tremendous functionality, including double sided printing, fax, scan, and relatively simple wireless operation. It is a bit noisy and clunky. I like having three separate colour ink supplies, as they become used at different rates. There is a simple online ink chart to see how much you have left.

After three weeks I would say that I am pleased so far. Also, I've been told my £50 discount is on its way (although I have not checked my bank account)
