Samsung SCX-4600 Mono Multifunction Printer

This multifunction printer from Samsung has print, copy and colour scan functionality and like most of Samsung’s printers, it looks good! The SCX-4600 printer has print screen and anyweb print software features. Details of the software can be found in the Samsung SCX-4600 pdf brochure. Samsung’s unique blue compass navigation panel is included on the Samsung SCX 4600, it gives you immediate access to all the various printing functions and controls. The Samsung SCX-4600 LCD screen provides information such as job status, the level of toner remaining, whether there is any paper left in the tray as well as the unfortunate occasion of a the Samsung SCX-4600 causing paper jam or alerts such as the cover is open.

Our Comment:

The Samsung SCX-4600 is compatible with Windows 7 but as the driver discs included with the printer were produced before the release of Windows 7, you would need to download the driver installation file from the Samsung website. Go to the Printer Driver page in our Resources section to find the appropriate link.

With regards to the toners, our current prices are displayed towards the top of this page – click here to go to the exact point where you can see the toner options.

Trouble free and great performance so far. I have two other lasers (Epson 1100 and Xerox 6180 - both colour) )and for quick mono printing this gets used the most. Quick response time.

What is included in the Box. Do I need to buy any cables (such as to connect to PC or Power.)

Our Comment:

The printer is supplied with a starter toner which will yield approximately 700 pages (@ 5% coverage) and a mains power cable. A USB cable is not provided so you will need one of these to connect it to your PC if you don't already have one. We have 2, 3 and 5 metre USB cables that are compatible with the SCX4600 and they can be found just underneath the Consumables Section on this page.
