Does everything that I want it to do for small office/home use. Good price from Printware, about the cheapest I could find on the market. Individual inks also good reason for purchasing this model. CD & DVD printing excellent. Good to have front and rear loading papers. All in all excellent value.

Very pleased with it. I have had Canon printers before and for what this one does, it is fine. I was looking for a printer to print up birthday cards etc. and this one fits the bill.

I've had Ip4200,IP4500,IP4700 and now IP4850, there is little difference between 4700 and 4850 but the output is superb. My hobby is creating oil paintings and watercolours of realistic quality with Photshop from photographs, often accepted as genuine original artwork until told otherwise and saleable through local art shops. All done on Canon Pixma IP series.
The detail and precision of the print is impressive.

Set up was easy, assembling the head and cartridges looked complex, but actually was not. The software from Canon is very clever, from waking the printer when needed, to putting it back to sleep when not and the output on plain or photo glossy paper is great. Very happy with this purchase and with Printware's service.

The performance of the latest Canon Pixma is all that would be expected. The overall experience is very slightly tarnished by the unexpected breaks it takes to perform automatic "housekeeping" functions - sometimes they seem to go on for ever! It is also disappointing to note that Canon have once again introduced a new range of cartridges, making the stock I had for the previous (and suddenly defunct) Pixma 4600 redundent.

Printer arrived as per your promise and it was soon put to work. 16 months ago I bought a Canon 4700 which developed a fault after very little use (and was goiung to cost more to repair that it cost!) I hestitated in buying another Canon printer but I was so impressed with the reproduction quality of the 4700 I eventually decided to purchase the 4850. I have not been disappointed with the photo printing as good as ever, and I can only hope that this one lasts longer than the previous model!

This printer is great, arrived quickly and at a great price too. The printing quality is very good and the printing onto a dvd face was also of a good quality. All in all, we would recommend the Canon Pixma iP4850 from this company.

Had the printer for 3 weeks and so far I'm very pleased, with excellent 4x6 colour photos and A4 printing. If I do something silly like forgetting to open the output flap it tells me. The double sided printing is especially valuable in saving paper.
