The sales support from Printware was polite and helpful. Delivery was superbly quick. Only criticism - didn't appear to be any depth in product knowledge other than what was on the website. Simon Jones - very pleasant to deal with and remembered we had called previously - rare these days and it was appreciated. All in all - Printware 4 out of 5. Would call again. Once we parted with our money, support was abysmal . The printers colour registration was so far out it was unuseable. Repeated emails and calls to support provided no help and no telephone callback was forthcoming. We eventually had to trawl the documentation for instructions. Wasted an afternoon finding out if it was a fault or a setup issue - eventually setting the machine up manually. Later asked for some toner and paper as recompense - support wanted exact page count - ridiculous when the printer has been running for a couple of days. So support refused to take it further. I ordered the 6500DN on a Thursday. It was delivered with no nonsense on the following Monday. The automatic duplexer was dispatched seperately, along with a UK power supply. I was not aware to expect 2 different deliveries but no issue really. The automatic duplex was very easy to install, only taking about 30 seconds. The Xerox phaser 6500DN itself is quality. The prints are quick and crisp. Colour makes no difference to print speeds. The automatic duplex is well worth the extra money, depending on whether double page printing is required. Highly recommended, easy to install and use printer. Much better than some Which recommended best buys actually. Would order again from Printware. Great service and printer.
