I find this printer to be very good for documents but when printing photos or photo images onto specialist papers it tends to print quite dark and I can't seem to find any way to lighten the print in the settings. I therefore have to lighten my images considerably before sending them to the printer and then I get a reasonable outcome.
Simple straight out of the box
Took it out of the box and popped in the CD and followed the instructions. Have set it up wirelessly and this was really straightforward. Print quality good, although first print a little slow. Also has i-print software for apple devices which is create for printing from an IPAD.
"photos or photo images onto specialist papers it tends to print quite dark "
- tell it that is photo paper, uses less ink as well
Prints very nice but wirelessly it needs reconfiguring every day as it can't hold the wireless settings when switched off. HP can't find a solution so now it is connected via USB cable, consequently I wouldn't buy another HP.
