A Little More About Duplex Units
A duplex unit is a part within the printer that allows you to perform double sided printing, or
2 sided printing. Duplex printing enables you to potentially halve the amount of paper you use to print
your work. Some printers come with duplex units already installed in the printer, and some have the
option of adding two sided printing after the initial purchase of the printer. The maximum weight of
