It is a very good printer, and is very quick at printing. I like the way it prints the pages off from the back first so it is all in order. However it could be better if the ink cartridges were less expensive, and different kinds could work in the printer.

Ink cartridge too expensive and even XL cartridge runs out too quickly. Worst problem is all the pop ups this printer generates that stop your total computer until you close them. Every print command here come the pop ups...sometimes as many as three. No way to turn them off.

Our Comment:

Unfortunately this is a fact of life when it comes to printers – if your printer is cheap to buy, then you will spend more on inks. This printer is less than £40 so the inks are quite pricey. If you look at the HP OfficeJet 4500, the machine is more expensive but the inks are cheaper and will print more pages.
