Lexmark X543 Colour Multifunction Printer

The Lexmark X543 multifunction printer offers integrated duplex printing to save paper and costs. And it gives you quality copying and scanning, plus output speeds up to 20 ppm in black and colour.

The cost per copy is generated using all consumables, not just the toners and is based on our current sell prices. In the case of the colour printers we have split the coverage between all colours.

Does the printer come with any cartridges? If so, are they just half filled?

Our Comment:

The Lexmark X543 ships with 2,000-page yield colour toners, and a 2,500-page yield black toner so it actually ships will full-life hi-capacity toners. It’s worth noting that these yields are based on a coverage of 5% so depending on what you’re printing the life of the toner cartridge will vary accordingly. I cannot begin to say how much better than the LBP5050N - no more lengthy delays for 'out of register/calibration ' etc.. It just does the job. Excellent. If I must balance my comments, it isn't very clear on setting up for email scanning but I'm sure I'll sort it.

I run an SME from home and was fed up of using a separate colour printer, black printer and a scanner. It took so much of my time up. Since we have had the new Lexmark X543dn multifunction printer it has made life so much easier. We can scan documents to email, it hardly uses any toners in comparison to the others, it holds much more paper than the ordinary printers and it is very fast overall. I asked for a printer that did everything and that is exactly what I got with this. I am very happy and would highly recommend it.
