do I need to purchase a toner / or do I get one with this printer ?

I bought this printer for my father-in-law. He's 97. He likes it. When things don't work properly, he calls me. He's never called me about this printer. It's an updated version of one he's had for several years (it still works but wouldn't connect to his new PC). It's cheap, it's reliable, it's compact, and it performs well. I'd say it's foolproof but my father-in-law's no fool. Let's just say it's nonagenarian proof.

We have now got 6 of this model printer, we are a Long Distance Racing Pigeon Club, the reason we purchased 2 more printers as having 4 already in use with no problems and ETS racing is growing it was to stick with what we know.
