The machine runs too hot and there is no way to turn the fuser temperature down as there is on my Oki machine by switching to a thinner paper setting. We are getting deformation of the paper by the heat. Apart from that it is performing very well although, as with any printer, I wish the toners lasted longer. Also the 250 sheet output tray is far too small

Engineer called out to fit new fuser unit. Some smudging on colours at times if printer gets hot.

I knew these were good before I bought them. In theory they offer a low cost per page - but actually the image units don't last nearly as long as KM suggest. I think they claim 36000 prints or 3 lots os 12000 toner units - but we have not managed that out of any of the ones we have been using.

This machine works well now, colours were all over the place when we started using it and then the yellow faild all together but the problems seem only to be due to toner settling during storage. Konica's helpline were very helpful and had the machine running beautifully after just one call.

Service was excellent and problems installing software for duplexing were solved by Konica Minolta Helpline. Print quality of machine excellent, the only query being that cost of some consumables, particularly transfer units, is very high and not mentioned in the advertised cost of running.

Thanks for your review, and we're glad to hear that the intial problems you had with the software were resolved quickly.

With regards to your comments about the transfer units, we do display these as consumable items and show their price - they're even included in the running costs calculations we show on our site. We try to be as transparent as possible, we are after all completely independent so like to give an easy way to compare the true running costs of printers - we're the only online retailer to offer this to customers.

Very pleased with printer, but this was a replacement because it was cheaper to buy a new printer (exactly the same as our previous one) than buy cartridges etc.

I've run the 5670EN for 3 weeks now and it's everything I hoped it would be in terms of performance & quality of output.

Yes, it's a little noisy in operation (it is sited in my lounge @ home), but once it goes in to standby mode you wouldn't know it was there.

I would recommend the printer to others.

Excellant machine only negetive comment is that the manuel is not user friendly. More Pictures would of helped.

Cheaper to throw away the old printer and buy a new one than to replace toners & print units. Print units do not last anywhere near as long as KM claim before streaking and smudging. Shaking the excess toner out of them gives a new lease of life.

This printer needed a new set of cartridges after 5500 A4 sheets printed at about 5%

The cartridges that Konica Minolta include in the box are rated at 12,000 pages at 5% coverage. If you only had 5,500 pages then it is likely that you are printing more like 10% coverage on average. This information can be found by navigating to the usage section on the main printer menu. If the report does confirm just 5% on average then it's possible that there is a fault somewhere. Unusual but possible all the same and you would be reimbursed for the shortfall.
