Which maintenance service options should you go for?
4 or 8 hour contract
- 4 or 8 hour on-site response
An engineer will attend to the machine on site within 4 or 8 hours of the
call being logged with the helpdesk.
- No guaranteed first time fix
Engineers carry most common parts with them and will make every attempt
to get the machine working on their first visit, however, less common
parts may be required and may need to be ordered.
- No loan machine entitlement
4+8 and 8+8 hour fix contracts
- 4 or 8 hour on-site responseWith best endeavours, an engineer
will attend to the machine on site within 4 or 8 hours of the call being
logged with the helpdesk.
- A guaranteed fix within 8 hours of attending
This guarantees that the machine will either be fixed within 8 hours
(12 or 16 hours of call to helpdesk) of the engineer attending or an
equivalent loan machine will be provided until it is fixed. Supply of the
loan machine does not include free consumable usage.
Both maintenance contracts include the following...
- Helpdesk support
- Qualified engineer attendance
- All labour expenses
- All travel expenses
- Any necessary spare parts
What's not included
- Any works where it is evident that the machine has not been used in accordance
with the manufacturers specifications. This includes the use of non OEM consumables
- Parts defined by the manufacturer as 'consumable' including but not
limited to toners, inks and fusers
- Any consumable related activity
If the machine develops a fault you the customer are responsible
for ensuring that all consumable parts are checked, re-seated etc,
prior to calling an engineer. If an engineer attends and finds it is a
consumable related fault, then the call out becomes chargeable.
